Each year, Sept 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  It is a day to honor the children who didn't come home, to honor the survivors, the families and the communities who have suffered the impact of residential schools.  The orange shirt is a symbol of the stripping away of culture, freedom and self-esteem experienced by Indigenous children over generations.  A vital component of the reconciliation process is to keep talking about Canada's painful history so we can learn and grow.

Catapult held a day to discuss the Path to Reconciliation - here are some resources from that event to help with the learning journey.
